The Great Alabama Camping Awaits You
The DeSoto Resort State Park is a fine example of one of the larger Alabama camping locations. Accommodation includes 58 water and electricity supplied back in sites, A-Frame chalets and rustic cabins with cable TV, a fireplace, picnic table and grill. There are also spaces for tents with access to restrooms and hot showers. If campers don’t feel like cooking, there is a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are terrific views from the summit of Lookout Mountain and campers can enjoy the local hiking trails, nature center and waterfalls. The meeting rooms cater for private functions and group meetings.
