How Play Can Help My Child Socialise?
We all worry that our children will not make friends easily especially when having to share their toys. So what can we do to encourage playing together nicely? One way that I have found really helps is to have a large interactive toy that allows several children to play at the same time either independantly at first, or with someone else. The toy needs to have lots of pieces so there is enough to go round all the players, but also, it must encourage interactive play. All children either girls or boys love to copy Mum so will love to play with a toy play kitchen. There is lots to do, meals to make, drinks to pour,washing up and once you have made a meal what better than to get someone else to eat it. Children will soon forget any shyness and will soon be having great fun with a new pal!
