Bathroom Scale
Lost 15 pounds at a friends house. That is why was so surprised when I went over to a friends house. She had what she claimed was the most accurate bathroom scale in the business, and when I told her about my diet problem she told me to weigh myself. I was a little bit skeptical that it would show anything different, but I obliged her and gave it a try. To my surprise, the bathroom scale gave a much different reading. Apparently, I had lost some 15 pounds, but my bathroom scale somehow hadn’t detected it. I had not looked at it carefully in so long that I didn’t realize that it was jammed up. For some reason, the spring was out of calibration and would not work properly, and as a result it always seemed to show the same weight.
