Skiing Tips For Beginners

Always ski with a buddy or friend - Although the danger of skiing is usually overblown, skiing is an extreme sport and you can get hurt. Using the buddy systems is a great idea for skiing beginners and let’s you watch out for each other. In case of injury, there is another person to drive the car, etc. Plus it’s more fun skiing with a friend than it is skiing alone.

Observe ski slope etiquette - Mostly this means just being respectful of others and realizing that the slopes are for everybody, not just you. Look out for other skiers and leave plenty of room when passing. Don’t ski too close to other skiers. Obey the ski signs and warnings. And, generally, don’t be reckless.
