WoW Leveling Guides
There are a number of WoW leveling guides out there and they vary a great deal in type, detail, and what’s included. Each guide, regardless of type, is a path that is designed to take you from level 1 to 70 as quickly as possible. Here’s a quickie overview of some of the WoW leveling guides and what you might expect from them. Grinding is (mostly) out and questing is in, due to the superior XP per hour from questing.
Each of these guides will list their recommended quests and include diorections on how to complete them. They leave out those quests that are a waste of your time.
The PDF guide - In Adobe PDF format these ebooks list the quests in the right order, include info on what to do, and link to sites like Thottbot.com for additional detail if you want it. Examples are Joana’s Guide and EliteWoW. Print ‘em out, put ‘em on a clipboard, check ‘em off as you go, and you’ll level fast.
The MapNote Guide - The Team iDemise guide is a good example of this. The in-game map is modified and a window (moveable and resizable) is put on your main screen. Check things off as you go and you’ll zip right along. Also includes tips and notes.
The Automated Guide - Zygor’s Leveling Guide rules here. It sits inyour main game window, also resizable and moveable, and automatically set waypoints, gives directions, and updates quests. You don’t even have to check them off. The time spent from not have to set waypoints or do lookups will greatly improve your leveling speed.
