Beating Your Seasonal Allergy Symptoms

I have had hay fever ever since childhood; it seems to run in the family. I’ve known some people who have allergies to certain foods like those that contain sulfides or even peanuts. Some people just wake up one morning and start sneezing, wheezing, and sniffling. These people may have to consider that they may be suffering from seasonal allergy symptoms. As with any other sickness, there are a number of ways to take care of these symptoms, but maybe the best way to look at the symptoms is thru control, not eradication.

Seasonal allergy symptoms can take many forms. One of the most common is watery eyes. I have them every summer, so I know how miserable they can be. I can still hear my mom saying, “Don’t rub your eyes!” Naturally, I rubbed my eyes. This only made them worse as they got even more red and watered even more. I’ve never worn contacts, but I’ve read that those that do should avoid wearing their contacts when their eyes are itchy and watering. Wearing contacts is just like rubbing your eye, you only make it worse.
