Deceptive Practices; Domain Listing Service; THIS IS NOT A BILL; Be careful, Don’t be fooled, dispose of it properly.
Domain Listing Services is soliciting business by sending unsuspecting companies a solicitation that looks like an invoice. If you read the print that is someplace at the bottom of the notice, probably on the back. You will see that it says “THIS IS NOT A BILL…” Please do not be fooled into thinking that this invoice should be paid.
When you receive any invoice that you are not sure if you should pay, look for a sentance that says “THIS IS NOT A BILL. THIS IS A SOLICITATION. YOU ARE UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO PAY THE AMOUNT STATED UNLESS YOU ACCEPT THIS OFFER.” and then dispose of it properly.
