Look Good, Feel Good: Jewelry and your Mood
“The Secret” teaches that we have within our grasp laws of science that when used correctly, create a reality that is of our own imagining. As I recall, Emerson knew that generations ago when he penned, “Live the Life You Have Imagined.” And my college roommate was already using this tenet when she pulled me in front of a mirror and started accesorizing me. She already knew what this fashion article espouses. While my closet held dockers and sneakers, from her pandora’s box of a closet she pulled capes and shawls. While my jewelry box housed a gold cross and hoop earrings, hers overflowed with all manner of handcrafted jewelry from chunky beads to dangling crystals. Dressed differently, I felt different and that affected everything from Saturday evenings to my academic standing.
