‘Jackets, Cowboys win HOL Indoor
WAHPETON, N.D. — The Perham Yellowjackets dominated and the Breckenridge/Campbell-Tintah Cowboys claimed eight first in taking top honors in Tuesday’s Heart O’ Lakes Conference Indoor.
Becca Peloquin, Holly Sheets, Abby Anderson and Elisa Moenkedick captured individual firsts for the Yellowjackets, who racked up 113 points.
Peloquin won the 60 hurdles with a 9.52 while Sheets claimed the 880 with a 2:37.34, Anderson won the mile run with a 5:27.03 and Moenkedick won the shot put with a 35-5 1/2.
Perham’s Zack Stenger ran a winning 2:04.17 while Justin Tellinghuisen took first in the mile run with a 4:53.37.
West Central Area’s Derek Bredy and Dale Haberer were individual champions. Bredy went 20-10 1/2 in the long jump while Haberer won the high jump with a 6-2 effort.
