Sweet 15 Dresses
As an American tradition, many girls have a sweet 16 party. It’s often an enormous bash filled with live music, dancing, and of course birthday presents. In Hispanic customs, they have this large scale party at the age of 15, and call it a QuinceaƱera. The word QuinceaƱera doubles as the title given to a girl at the age of 15, as well as the sweet 15 party itself. The even have bride maids of sorts called damas that get to wear damas dresses. And just like the American version of the celebration, the sweet 15 dresses are one of the most important parts of the night.
