The Importance of Your Damas Dresses
In American custom, many girls have a sweet 16 party. It’s often a huge party filled with live music, dancing, fancy gowns like 2009 prom dresses, and of course birthday presents. In Hispanic customs, they have this large scale party a year earlier at the age of 15 and call it a Quinceañera. The Quinceañera court consists of the Quinceañera herself, as well as 14 damas and 15 chambelanes. The damas, of course, need damas dresses.
