Learning to play the piano with books
I remember when I was a child and dreaded having to practice playing the piano. It was a chore, and the only reason I did it was that I got 5 cents for every half hour. Unfortunately I was neither a talented piano player or that fond of money, so I quit when I was 8 years old.
However, in my adult life the piano has given me many nice moments. Learning how to play the piano is fun when you reach a new level and can play something that felt impossible only weeks earlier. These days there are several great books published so that beginner piano lessons can be more fun then my young piano experiences.
