When I was a kid, my mom always yelled at me about my listening to music habits. She warned me that I was going to have problems later on if I was not careful. As I went through school for music production, I got the same warnings. Though I did not take things that seriously when I was younger, those messages did sink in. Because I have been around loud music for so long, I do worry about my hearing. I am more careful about things now. Besides those issues, there are some other habits those that love music should think about. When I was a kid, I wanted to take guitar, but my mom made me take keyboard lessons instead. She argued that the best thing to do was to learn music theory. After that, I could go anywhere with it. I would be allowed to learn basically any instrument I wanted within reason. I wasn’t very excited about learning musical theory, and I certainly wasn’t that excited about the keyboard. I wanted to play guitar like my favorite rock stars did. Nonetheless, I knew that the only way to do that was to go by her rules. Once my mom made up her mind, she seldom went back. I never really liked the keyboard even when I was playing it, but once I started to learn music theory I get really excited about it.

Getting Myself A Radio Control Boat.
I went through a point during which I required absolutely nothing more than a radio control boat. Standing on the dock of my parents’ lake cabin as my boat screamed across the waves, dashing up spray into the faces of its little bitty driver was the dream I had about radio control boats. I daydreamed about steering my small boat around racing pylons and into sharp turns, the propeller biting into the water and launching the boat into the air as it cleared the crest of the next wave. The part of my interest in radio control boats came from my interest in being on the water. My father didn’t have a high-performance racing boat, which is really, too bad, but he did have the next-best thing: a fishing boat. I liked fishing as a child, but what I liked more was going out onto the lake and coming back, especially in rough weather. I loved how the boat skipped across the waves and how the bow threw up spray when things got really choppy.

I have bought many guitars online over the years. I studied Classical Guitar At The Crane School of Music, and played in various bands for the last 15 years or so.
